A Day At The Patch

Victoria Vitale blogger fashion photography

It's that time of the year again (one of the best times!) The weather is super nice, it's time for fall festivities, and it's spooky season. One of my favorite activities to do during the fall is to go to pumpkin patches. I don't know what it is about them but I could go to one every day of the week and be perfectly happy about it. Some things I love about the season and what I think makes it one of the best times of the year are; the colors of fall, being able to wear sweaters and jeans, the brisk air and the smell of bonfires. Picking out fall outfits that are perfect for photoshoots at the pumpkin patches is what I look forward to. I'll explain and show several outfits throughout this blog post that make me so excited for this fall season.
The first outfit is a burnt orange mock turtle neck ribbed long sleeve shirt tucked into some vintage jeans I found at Goodwill. This year I have been drawn to the burnt orange color and have wanted it incorporated into my wardrobe. This shirt is great alone and is also a piece that will be great for layering when the weather gets even colder (which is inevitable unfortunately.) Accessories are also important to fully bring an outfit together. If you ask me a hat will elevate any outfit, especially during the fall months. I added a black hat to match my belt and black ankle booties. This outfit is comfortable, stylish, and feels like fall.

The next outfit is worn by my sister and let me tell you I love it so much. Not only is it super cute, it is so versatile in how you can style it. She has a tan J.Crew skirt that is tight fitting and then has a ruffle at the bottom. The color of the skirt is such a great color for fall, especially contrasting with the orange pumpkins of the pumpkin patch. She paired the skirt with a fluffy white sweater to start and tucked it in the front. Pairing a skirt with a sweater is great for days where the weather is cold but not too cold for you to expose your legs. She then paired that same skirt with a bodysuit in my all time favorite color which is maroon. Boot socks are also such a fun accessory for fall and she wore some that matched her sweater with the first variation and brought out the color of the booties in both outfits. This is an outfit that would be great for a party or event during the fall.

The next outfit is my outfit from the picture above, which gave you a sneak peak of it! This outfit is trendy and can be worn so many different ways. To be honest when I first saw these pants hanging on the wall fixture at the store I was a little unsure because they look slightly like longer gauchos (if you remember that trend then you know what I'm talking about.) The wide leg and shorter length pants are making a comeback and when I tried these on they felt like butter. Truly the most comfortable jeans I have in my wardrobe and they are high-waisted which is a huge plus. I paired these pants with a white sweater that I tucked in, tan booties, a black belt, and black hair scarf. I can just imagine so many sweaters and shirts that will go perfectly with these pants.

The last two outfits are worn by my sister and have black as the main color. One is a black lace dress which gives me witchy vibes but in a good way. This dress is my favorite style of dress and just looks so beautiful and effortless. Her second outfit is an edgy twist on a simple fall outfit. She has a black shirt tucked into distressed light wash jeans with a plaid scarf. A plaid scarf is essential for a fall outfit if you ask me. Both outfits are simple but fully encompass the spirit of the fall season. Hopefully you can find inspiration from all of these outfits and come up with some of your own. This is such a fun time with so many festivities for you to partake in. Enjoy the season and all of the fashionable moments that you can have!
