Valentine's Day is a week away! Do you know what you're gonna wear? I don't even know how this year is already going by so quickly. I'm just looking forward to eating all the chocolate covered strawberries I can possibly stomach. By now we all know the color scheme that goes along with this day; red, pink, and white. To be honest I don't own much of these colors so I had to look deep deep into my closet to find these particular outfits. The most important thing is to wear what you feel comfortable in and not try to impress anyone else. No matter what your plans are for the day you deserve to look and feel your best!
The first outfit I put together was some light wash boyfriend jeans, a withe tank top, a red fuzzy jacket, and black boots. This is a very casual outfit that is very comfortable, perfect for if you are just lounging around or going to a casual restaurant. The teddy coat became a huge trend at the end of last year and is continuing into the new year. I wanted one of these so badly and luckily I found one that is perfect for a Valentine's Day outfit. It is fuzzy and has pockets so it doesn't get much better than that. It would also look really cute with a dress or skirt if you wanted to dress it up more.
I was going for comfort and style when putting together outfit ideas this year. My second outfit was a pair of jeans that I cuffed at the bottom, a pink and white striped sweater, with tan booties. I love these shoes and would gladly wear them everyday. I am not a fan of heels but the heel on these shoes make it so easy to walk in. I have to confess and say this isn't my sweater but I borrowed it from my sister. That's the beauty of having siblings that you can share clothes with, it allows you to change up your style without having to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe.
The third outfit I chose was a velvet jumpsuit that I paired with black booties. My sister wore a very similar jumpsuit for Thanksgiving and I was jealous that I didn't own one. It is very soft and insanely comfortable. The neckline on this jumpsuit gives you the perfect opportunity to accessorize however you want. I kept it simple and just wore one of my Kendra Scott necklaces. I was able to find my very own jumpsuit when I went to visit her at College one weekend. It was a lucky find and there was no way I was leaving it in the store. This is for sure going to be my Valentine's Day outfit this year!
Last but not least I have a red sweater that has gold details on the sleeves. It's long enough to be a dress or paired with jeans and tucked in the front. It is a very versatile sweater and perfect for a nice evening out with your Galentines or significant other. There isn't much to say besides it's a great sweater and I also have it in black. What else can you do when you love a piece of clothing than buy it in every color? It is my go-to when I don't know what else to wear and I want to feel comfortable but look cute.
I hope you all have a great Valentine's Day!
