The weather is finally going to get warmer and we can break out the cool and colorful clothing items hidden in our closet. Color in my wardrobe is something I'm missing (I tend to buy more neutrals that will go with everything) so I put together outfits with accents of color instead. I have put together 7 different outfits for you to take inspiration from and create outfits from your closet. So here is my week full of spring outfit ideas for you!

Sometimes when the weather gets warm my desire to create complex outfits is low so most of the time I reach for dresses. This first outfit is a tiered maxi dress that has a subtle floral pattern on it. I love anything with flowers on it for the spring months, I just feel it is appropriate. I paired it with a tan hat, platform black sandals, and gold chunky layered necklaces. All of my accessories for this outfit actually came from Walmart, they are stepping up their game lately.

Athleisure is all the rage right now, so this next outfit combines comfort and style. I am wearing a powder blue athletic skirt from Old Navy that I am completely obsessed with. I only had white or black skirts before I found this one and I think this will be a spring staple for me. It is very comfortable and I can't get over the color. I paired it with a simple white tee that I bought from JcPenney, I like that it is higher quality material so it isn't transparent at all. I kept it simple and just wore my Air Force sneakers, I do think it could be dressed up a bit with small gold hoops and a thin gold chain.

This next outfit is a perfect winter to spring transition, especially if days or nights are slightly chilly. I have a black tank top that has shoulder pads tucked into tan flowy trousers. I added a belt to define my waist, a black hat, and some snakeskin boots. A wide brim hat is one of my favorite accessories for the spring, I think it automatically dresses up and adds something extra to an outfit. I was pleasantly surprised by how this outfit turned out and I can't wait to wear it around town. I thrifted the pants and had now idea how to style them and then this came to me while I was looking through my closet.

Another dress outfit that is super simple and easy to throw on quickly is what I put together next. This is actually an outfit that I have planned for a Nashville trip I'm taking this summer. I am wearing a tan t-shirt dress that has cuffed sleeves as the main part of the outfit. I bought the dress from Shein because I couldn't find one in the stores, I'm contemplating putting white stars all over it to match my white cowgirl boots.

To give it more shape I added a silver chain link belt that I found at Walmart. A few days prior I was on Pinterest and found this exact belt that I wanted so I tried to find it on Amazon but wasn't coming up with anything. I walked into Walmart and it was the last one in my size on the rack, I was destined to have this belt to complete the outfit. Depending on the weather a denim jacket is always a great way to elevate the simple t-shirt dress.

For a more casual outfit I paired some denim shorts with a tank top and jacket. I accessorized with simple gold layered necklaces. This tank top is one of the few items in my closet that represents spring colors. The tank top is super comfortable ribbed material and has a built in bra so that makes it even better. The jacket is from the boutique section on the website so you can get one to match! I wore my Air Forces with this outfit to keep it as casual as possible, this is a great outfit to run errands in.

A closet staple for me are bodysuits, I think they are so easy to pair with some jeans and accessories and walk out the door. Here I am wearing a white ruched bodysuit from Shein paired with some fun cropped flare jeans from Walmart. For accessories I wore my white cowgirl boots again, gold layered necklaces, and a pink headband. I love headbands for spring and make for super easy hairstyles. I really like this outfit for a casual spring day doing activities around town. This makes me want to go to a farmer's market and spend the day outside.

Lastly I put together another casual outfit with some color perfect for a spring day. I am wearing a yellow cropped tank top, my high-waisted Levi's jeans, with a lace cardigan. For shoes I am wearing some nude shoes that have a small heel, they are the most comfortable shoes I've found in quite some time. The tank top is from Walmart and the shoes I thrifted. This is a outfit full of sunshine and made me feel cute and ready to take on spring.

I always have such a fun time putting together season specific outfits. I hope that it gives you inspiration to create new outfits from items you already have in your closet. I'm so excited for warmer temperature and being able to wear outfits I'm excited about. Also, I made this blog post into a YouTube video so if you want to see the outfits in action check that out as well. Thanks!
