Here we are again! Thank you for joining me for another costume idea for the Halloween season. This week I transformed into a Bratz doll from my childhood. I did not pick one specific doll or outfit to replicate but more so the fashion sense and aura of the doll. This was a lot of fun to put together and I love how it turned out. It ended up being an outfit I would wear in my day to day life, not just for Halloween. Let us dive deeper and see how this passion for fashion came to life!

This was one of the first Halloween costumes in a while that I did zero DIY projects for. That did kind of hurt my heart because we all know I love to make things and create them from scratch. The Bratz Halloween costume did not require that but I still had a lot of fun finding and putting together this outfit. The only parts of this costume I owned were the thigh high boots, leather shirt jacket, and the gold jewelry. I got lucky and thrifted the plaid skirt, it was almost like my other two costume ideas where I was running out of hope that I would find anything, but it worked out. I bought the tank top from Target, the hat from Walmart, and I borrowed the bag from my mom’s closet. I absolutely loved how this look came together. I felt like all the Bratz rolled into one.
The makeup for this costume was unlike what I usually do but I did like it once it was done. I went very dramatic with the eyes and blush. I overlined my lips so that they would appear bigger like how the Bratz doll looks. I used a neutral brown to match the rest of my makeup and then added glitter as well. I do wish I added liquid eyeliner and false lashes but now I know for next time. Overall I really like how it turned out and it pulled the whole costume together.
We have just one more costume idea left for this year! I cannot believe we are already nearing the end of this Spooktober season. As always this is my favorite time of the year and this year did not disappoint. I am already looking forward to next year and brainstorming ideas. Next week’s post is a long time coming considering my favorite horror movie of all time is Scream. I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoy coming up with and putting together all thee costumes. Until next time, stay spooky!
