Valentine's Day is almost here! I'm sure everyone has noticed the influx of pink and red at the stores and not to mention the candy aisle that might just erupt. The outfits I put together would be great for a casual night with friends or your significant other. Go watch a movie and binge on all the snacks. It's Valentine's Day, it's acceptable right?!
I love oversized sweaters so both of the outfits above feature one. I wore tan heeled booties with both outfits because they are versatile and let's not forget comfortable. They are some of my favorite shoes, I even own them in black. The first outfit consisted of a lightweight pink long sleeve shirt. So if it is warmer where you live something like that would be perfect. This shirt allows me to accessorize with a necklace because it is a v-neck so it shows it off beautifully. I tucked some of the shirt in the waistband of my high-waisted jeans to give more edge and dimension to my outfit.
For the next outfit I just swapped out my shirt for a heavy, oversized, red sweater. This is one of my favorite sweaters, it actually belonged to my dad but he was going to give it away so it made its way into my closet instead. I rolled the sleeves to match the cuffs on my jeans and so that I could use my hands to tell the truth. An oversized sweater is great if you live in a colder climate or you want to be extra cozy. I love both outfits and they really got me in the Valentine's Day spirit. Embrace your wardrobe and the love you're surrounded by not only on February 14th but everyday.
